Oh and the question I have been wondering about is how do people feel about RTI (Response To Intervention) in the schools? Does anyone think it works? Does anyone have any ideas about how schools should implement RTI? Over the summer I heard about how one of our school districts is planning on addressing RTI. This particular district will determine which tier the students fit in and if they are in Tier 1 they will get out of school in early May if they are considered Tier II their school year will be increased by two or three weeks if they are in Tier III they will have their school year increased by six to eight weeks. Does anyone see a problem with this methodology?
